Nice neighborly downtown Edmonds diner. Basic diner menu, all good food.

Plenty of room to keep your social distance for inside eating. Also has a few tables outside.

Really like the place, it has this 'less is more' sort of atmosphere. Food is fabulous, and service is good as well

We have had breakfast here many times, and had dinner tonight. Both dishes were really good meat and potatoes, though the broccoli was undercooked. This place is busy at breakfast but relatively empty for dinner. Though dinner was good, breakfast here was better. The waitresses here are always nice.

Was in town visiting family...close to their place. Nice restaurant, friendly folks and good eats. At there twice during our visit. Parking can be tricky during busier times.

Great basic restaurant. Very convenient to the ferry. This is a good place to meet a friend for breakfast or lunch. I'm sure dinner is fine too, but not part of my scope of experience. Menu selections are standard fare and well prepared. Prices are reasonable for the area and restaurant style. Nice view of the ferry from most window tables. Service was good.

Claire's was great and has a nice breakfast menu and the customer service was "Spot On" from the minute we walked through the door!

The food was very basic and only okay. It just wasn’t the downtown Edmonds quality I expected. Normal prices. The salmon burger wasn’t even actual fresh salmon, it was a patty. Kind of ironic considering the restaurant’s right up the street from the ocean. Drinks and food took a bit long to come, considering we were the only people there. All the supplies felt like they were purchased from Costco, meaning it didn’t feel unique. Environment was nice, and service was good.

Claire's is a great, clean and locally-owned diner right along one of the main strips of Edmonds, and within walking distance to Olympic Beach. Breakfast is served all day, but don't overlook their lunch and dinner options, either. Beware of varying operating hours, though, as their early weekday hours are much shorter than later in the week, and Mondays they close well before dinner. But as far as the food and service go, it is highly recommended if in town and looking for a good dine-in place

Great food. The best Monte Cristo sandwiches in the area. Bar has affordable drinks and full service tables. Delicious Bloody Mary's.

Enjoyed the breakfast here. We were seated quickly on a Saturday at 9:00am. Cindy was are server and very polite. All the staff was helpful. Restaurant was very clean. Food was good and prices reasonable. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak. Portion was just right. It was not heavy but, enough to satisfy my hunger and carry me thru to a light lunch. Parking was fairly easy to find. Will definitely return.

This long established dinner offers generous sized quality meals at reasonable cost, with great service, and in a comfortable setting.

We come here at least twice a month every month and are always taken great care of! Mimosas are fantastic, the food is always delicious (lots of yummy brunch options), the staff are kind and quick to seat/serve us even on the BUSY days! Restrooms are very clean and always stocked. One tiny complaint is that I found a hair in my food the other day.. But mistakes happen and everything else has been perfect!

Sweet nostalgic feel. I thought the pie was just OK not amazing. I wonder if I just don't love pie anymore. I know I've had better though. Good service. Comfortable place to chat and catch up with a friend.

Great place for small breakfast. Its hard to find places which serve portions for humans these days. Claire's has a small menu $6 for 1 egg 2 bacon 1 French toast

I've been here many a time and it always delivers a quality experience. Just a very No Frills, General American Fare restaurant with a large menu and a lot of seating options. Big picture windows give views of people walking by. There's also in Edmonds themed bar there. If it gets busy you can sit in the bar , because that doesn't fill up like the restaurant does. I was really impressed with a young woman with facial piercings who works in the bar and was single handedly serving breakfast for everyone there.

Disappointed on our first visit, will be our only visit. Went to Claire's for brunch on a Sunday, arrived at noon, seated immediately. Waited over 10 minutes for first contact with wait staff, waited over 60 minutes from being seated until food arrived, plates were missing toast. Finished meals before toast brought to table. Empty tables in restaurant; appeared understaffed. Food was good, average, but not great and definitely not worth waiting over 60 minutes for.

The food was really good! Although, in a few dishes there were strands of hair. Also, one of the dishes we ordered were wrong but it was quickly fixed. All in all, the food was done very well and for a picky eater as myself, I found that I was eating every last scrap of the dish. The food is amazing and I definitely recommend eating there. :D

Good place. Clean and pleasant surroundings. Clean and stocked restroom. Coffee shop with a bar. Good food. Hot food was served on a warmed plate. Portions were perfect. Nice wait staff! Will return!

Best soup I've ever had!

This is a great spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff is cool, there is a lot of room and there is a lot to choose from on the menu. Be warned that weekend prime breakfast hours get quite busy, so plan ahead or be prepared to wait. Out, if your over 21, they have a nice longer/bar, with full menu service. Great place for just dessert and coffee too. Like a lot of businesses in Edmonds though, they're not open late.

Living out east for so long I was used to small diners everywhere. Unfortunately this place just doesn't compare. The food is mediocre, prices are reasonable for the area( the specials atleast). Eggs were overcooked and there was nothing particularly special about the food or the place. Staff was nice but they forgot my drink(didn't write anything down). There was only one other customer when I went in.

Love the quiet atmosphere. Food is always fresh and tasty. I also appreciate the great prices without compromising the quality. Food is never greasy. The servers are pleasant but not too friendly where it's an intrusion. I like that balance where they still drop by often but briefly to see if you need anything.

It's a diner. Nothing fancy. Great place for breakfast with friends who are not snooty Starbucks fans.

Claire's is an Edmonds institution and a great place for a diner breakfast. I have found it to be as consistent as Edmonds itself.

Just okay to be honest. I like my home fries and sausage well done but others may be less tolerant although eggs were done perfectly. I had the country eggs Benedict. Service was okay, price okay and food just barely ok. Probably won't return as there are so many other choices in Edmonds. Drive on by.

Such a cute going away party for regulars, off to Ireland they go for 6 months. You can tell the new owner cares because her and the staff helped put on this wonderful party by supplying the decorations and the cake/snacks. Katherine goes above and beyond for her customers you can tell she really cares about you as a person, she had so much fun being able to put this on for them.

We were so over the top disappointed this time we have gone here for well over 30 years and wow it was aweful. They were so short staffed on our visit it took almost 45 minutes to get our food., when we finally got it it was ice cold the food tasted like it had been sitting for over a hour , our wattres never came back to our table once.When I finally was able to get the hostess to the table and ask her what was going on she said I really dont know what to say. So disappointing I would have never expected such aweful service and food from this place.

I am a born and raised Edmonds original. Clair's Pantry was a once month go to restaurant for my family. Hadn't been to Edmonds in quite awhile and my wife and I wanted to take our daughter to the place we liked so much. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I was embarrassed. The food was mediocre. And the gal that "served" us had no business being a server. The two gentleman that came around were very social and fun to talk to. Yet she could have cared less if she was there or not. Serving sizes are joke. I ordered a three egg omelet. They must have been quails eggs. The eggs were over cooked as we're the mushy veggies. My wife's sandwich looked it was made by a child. Messy and thrown on the plate. At least the coffee was good. I am truly hoping this was just one bad night. I will give them a try again in the near future and see if it wasn't just a fluke.
